Woman kills her own new born child because he looked like her ex-boyfriend

Woman kills her own new born child because he looked like her ex-boyfriend

18-year-old Ana Rosa Mora (pictured above) has been arrested for killing her own child because the the new born looked like her ex-boyfriend. Ana wrapped her baby in a bag and left him outside to die because she feared the child looked like her ex-boyfriend and her current boyfriend would leave her.

The Chicago Tribune reports that the teen gave birth last weekend and attended school on Monday after allegedly committing the act and even showed staff members pictures of a newborn girl that she claimed she downloaded from the Internet.

But after employees noticed strange behavior - such as the girl asking if authorities could link her to the child through DNA and lying about the baby's age - they alerted authorities. Continue...

The child had been found by a construction worker a few hours after the child was left outside. The boy was born alive but died of asphyxia and possible exposure, authorities said.

The new mother said her ex-boyfriend was the father and when the child was born she feared her current boyfriend would notice and leave her, the newspaper reported. She was arrested Friday April 25th.

Mora, who was scheduled to graduate from high school in June and attend college in the fall is facing charges of first-degree murder and is now being held on $500,000 bail.

'My uncle has been sleeping with me since 2013' 12yr old girl reveals

'My uncle has been sleeping with me since 2013' 12yr old girl reveals

Anthony Wayas (pictured left) a resident of Finima community in Bonny LGA of Rivers State has been accused by his 12 year old niece of having sex with her since 2013, Tribune reports.

Anthony, who is the brother to the girl's father took responsibility for her after her father passed away when she was just a year old. By the time she turned 12, he started having sex with her.

His evil act came to light on Monday April 21 after the girl told her neighbour what her uncle was doing to her. The neighbour then told another neighbor who told the youth leader in the community and Anthony was accosted in his home where he was badly beaten and had to be rescued by the police. Continue...

Narrating what happened to Tribune, the little girl said
"Uncle Anthony is a father to me. He is my father’s brother. My father is dead and my mother is in our village at Adamawa State, married to another man now. I don’t go to school. I finished Primary 6 and was supposed to start JSS1 but I was not sent to secondary school by my uncle. I usually stay at home to do house chores. I would then take my cousins to school and come back home to work. I would go back to the school in the afternoon to pick them. My  Uncle started sleeping with me in 2013. How it happened was that he would leave for work in the morning and come back in the afternoon while his wife is away at work where she works as a cleaner. He would take the children to the big room, asking them to stay there, and would take me to the small room. He would remove my pant and push me on the bed. He would then remove his trousers and bring out his manhood. He would then put it inside me and sleep with me. I can’t count the number of times it has happened. When I told the wife, she threatened to return me to our village. On Saturday, April 19, my uncle asked me to mix hot and cold water for him to take his bath. He took the bucket to the bathroom and asked me to bring his sponge to him. As I took the sponge to him, he dragged me into the bathroom and had sex with me. There were people in the house but he warned me not to shout.  The following morning, I told one woman in our compound. She, in turn, told someone and when the person interviewed me, he called in the Finima youths. I am surprised that my uncle is denying.” she said
Anthony denied the accusation made by the little girl saying he has suffered erectal dysfunctional for a long time due to a sexually transmitted disease he suffered sometime ago.
"I am surprised at what she said that I was having sex with her because it is not true. I have a problem with my manhood which has resulted in my inability to make love to a woman. I have not been experiencing erection at all. I was told by my doctor that it was caused by syphilis that I once had. He said the sexually transmitted disease was not well treated when I had it. It also resulted in my having zero sperm in my semen which the doctor said would not make me have a baby. I was given Proviron to boost my sperm count.” he said.
Anthony's wife, who the girl accused as an accomplice, says her husband has sexual challenges and that Karen never told her of her husband's sexual advances
"We have been married for 14 years but, initially, my husband had low sperm count. He married another woman after me but we got pregnant at the same time after several prayers. I have a child and the other woman has two. She has left and I am the one taking care of her children with mine. Karen is my husband’s niece. She came to us after her father died and she was just about a year old then. I am confused about the whole issue because my husband had been having weak erection for over a year and had not been able to make love to me. We sought medical help and the doctor recommended some drugs.  Since the drugs are expensive, we have resorted to prayers. I am not defending my husband but I don’t understand how he was able to have sexual relationship with  the girl with his current condition. And Karen did not inform me as she claimed. If she did, I would have admitted it,” the wife said.
Deputy Police Public Relations Officer in Rivers State, Grace Iringe-Koko confirmed the incident and says investigation is currently going on and if he is found guilty, he would be charged to court.

Pastor’s daughter who converted to Islam set to wed the lawyer who handled her case

Charity Uzoechina, the daughter of Pastor Raymond Uzoechina of the Redeemed Christian Church of God who converted to the Islamic faith in Feb. 2013 will soon tie the knot, Premium times reports.

Her marriage announcement was made known by the Executive Director of Muslim Rights Concern, MURIC, Ishaq Akintola, whose organization has kept tab on the convert for months.

According to reports, Charity who has since changed her name to Aishat is getting married to the Islamic lawyer, Barrister Tijani, who handled her case during her conversion.

Her conversion was so contentious that she sort a sharia court injunction to be accommodated in the palace of the Etsu Nupe of Bida, Niger state, for fear that her parents and her Christian fellows would attack her. Her parents at the time accused the Etsu Nupe of abducting her and forcing her to denounce her Christian faith. Aishat however stated categorically that it was a voluntary decision and was in no way forced by anyone
"I joined Islam purely on my own terms. I love the character of Muslims that I have related with, particularly the way they behave. You know Muslims believe in God,” Miss Uzoechina said at the time.
She would be getting married on Friday May 2nd.

Video: Mom beats daughter for posting semi-nude pics on Facebook

A video showing a single mother from Trinidad and Tobago whipping her 12-year-old daughter with a belt for sharing sexually explicit pics of herself on Facebook has gone viral, sparking a conversation about corporal punishment.

Last Sunday, a video was posted on Facebook showing Helen Bartlett, a mother of four from Point Fortin, beating her daughter while hurling profanities at her. The 6 minute clip shows the angry mum raining blows on the girl, who whimpers in pain. Oyibo people feel the beating is shocking and call it child abuse but we are Africans and we have probably seen or experienced worse.

The woman has since said she does not regret beating the girl the way she did and is prepared to go to jail to set her wayward young daughter on the right path. She said since their father left them, the young girl has been unmanageable and she's scared the girl will either end up pregnant or killed. Watch the video after the cut and tell us if you think it was excessive...

What sparked the brutal beating last Sunday according to the mother was a text message exchange between the young girl and a teenage boy who was trying to convince her to have sex with him.

After reading the messages, the mother said she accessed her daughter's Facebook profile and discovered photos of the girl posing 'seductively' in her underwear.
"I stand firmly by my decision. I will go to jail for it,’ the woman said. ‘I know people are saying the authorities should charge me for abuse.’
The young girl has since refuted reports that she attempted suicide after the video went viral and her school mates started to taunt her. She also spoke in support of her mum, saying the beating didn't make her feel like her mum didn't love her.
‘I am very sorry for bringing shame on you and the family. I know you love me dearly. And I love you dearly, too.’

Alison-Madueke gets court injunction stopping reps from probing N10b jet scandal

Alison-Madueke gets court injunction stopping reps from probing N10b jet scandal

Minister of Petroleum, Dieziani Alison-Madueke, who has been in the middle of a 10bn jet scandal has secured a court injunction stopping the House of Representatives from further investigating her, Premium Times reports. Alison-Madueke had approached a federal high court in Abuja where she asked the court to restrain the House members to discontinue any probe involving her.

Justice . R. Mohammed who presided over the case, barred the house members or their committees  from summoning her for any further investigations or even ordering her arrest if she failed to appear before the house. According to reports, the court injuction was secured on April 14th but was only made public today as the House intended to commence further investigation on the matter today.
Speaking on the court injunction, the Chairman of the House Public Accounts Committee, Solomon Olamilekan said they were surprised by the court injunction.
"Today is April 28, the committee scheduled to receive the honourable Minister of Petroleum Resources and other agencies that have stake in this investigation. But as we speak, there is a court order, which has been served to the office of the speaker, even though the committee has not gotten the copy of that order. The nature of the court order is simple. They are just restraining us from carrying out our own investigation" he said.
Spokesperson of the house,  Zakary Mohammed said the house would obey the court injunction
"As a law abiding arm of government, we will tarry a while and of course take a legal opinion as far as issues are concerned" he said
A member of the House, Samuel Adejare had on  March 20th presented a motion before the house accusing the minister of committing about 500,000 Euros (N130 million naira) monthly to maintain an aircraft for her personal use and those of her immediate family.

Abducted schoolgirls: FG meets cameroon, chad security chiefs

Abducted schoolgirls: FG meets cameroon, chad security chiefs

school girls

Following Thursday’s directive by the National Security Council for the military to rescue pupils of the Government Girls’ Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State, abducted by Boko Haram insurgents, there are indications that the Federal Government has met with security chiefs in neighbouring countries in a bid to rescue the abducted girls.

Saturday PUNCH investigation in Abuja on Friday showed that as part of the search for the girls, the office of the National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki, had been coordinating the meetings with the security advisers of the neighbouring countries.

A credible security source said that the NSA and heads of immigration and customs in Nigeria had earlier met with  their counterparts in Cameroon, Benin Republic, Niger and Chad.

The source said, “The office of the National Security Adviser has been working on the issue of getting our neighbours’ cooperation on the issue of the release of the abducted girls.

“And one thing about these meetings is that the men of the Nigeria Customs Service are involved and also their counterparts  from Immigration. So the issue of collaboration with our neighbours is being taken very seriously.”

It was gathered that although the kidnappers were still within Nigeria, the meetings with security chiefs in these countries were aimed at seeking their cooperation in case the insurgents eventually sneak out of Nigeria.

The security source, who confided in one of our correspondents, said, “From all indications, the girls and their abductors are still within Nigeria. We have told our neighbours  to be on the alert, if eventually they (Boko Haram members) take the pupils across our borders.”

The suspected insurgents had stormed the school from 9  pm to 3 am and carted away the girls, who were in school to take the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination.

Although the total number of the abducted girls was initially put at 129, the figure has since changed as the Principal of the school, Mrs. Asabe Kwambura, claimed that a total number of 230 students were abducted.

Kwabura told the BBC that 40 of the girls escaped from the kidnappers. She also said that the girls escaped on their own as none of them was rescued by the military.

Also, the Governor of Borno State, Alhaji Kassim Shettima, said during a visit to Chibok on Monday, that a total of 52 girls had escaped from the kidnappers with the escape of some of the abducted students at the weekend.

The military had retracted an earlier statement on April 17 that 121 out of a total of 129 abducted girls had been released following protests by the school principal and the Borno State Government who accused the military of deceiving Nigerians.

The Director of Defence Information, Maj. Gen. Chris Olukolade, in an electronic mail on Wednesday, said that the military had intensified the search for the abducted pupils.

Commenting on the abduction of the girls, a retired Commissioner of Police, Lawrence Alobi, said that the approach to tackling terrorism in the country should be multi-dimensional, stressing the need for all Nigerians to rise up to the challenge.

Alobi advised the government to close the nation’s borders until terrorism had been combated, noting that former President Olusegun Obasanjo once shut the borders for a security operation which he (Alobi) successfully coordinated.

The security expert frowned on the blame game between the Peoples Democratic Party and the All Progressives Congress on the terrorist attacks in the country, insisting that this was wrong. According to him, every Nigerian, from the traditional rulers, political leaders to the youth should rise up in unison against terrorists.

He said, “Terrorism is an attack against Nigerians and everyone should rise in unison against it. Northern leaders should rise as a group and condemn it, after all, the perpetrators are from the north and they are destroying the economy of the region.

“You can’t talk with the faceless people behind this problem because they have refused to come forward for dialogue.’’

Commenting on the plan by the parents of the abducted girls to  search the Sambisa forest for their children, the FCT Coordinator, Women and Family Advancement Initiative, Chizaram Madu, said  it was a dangerous idea as  the terrorists might  attack the parents and compound the situation.

She advised that intermediaries should be sent to the abductors to plead with them to release the girls.

Madu observed that the CCTV component of the National Public Security Communications System, which would have assisted in combating the security challenge in the country, was sabotaged and the government had not held anyone responsible.

She said, “I don’t support women going to the forest in search of the girls because it is dangerous. Sending intermediaries  to the insurgents is a better option because going to the bush poses a serious risk to the parents.

“I think the approach to the security challenge is being hampered by corruption. The CCTV which gulped billions of naira is not working and nobody is taking responsibility for it. I heard that the FCT minister said he knew nothing about the project, so who is in charge of the project and why has the government not held anyone responsible for the failed project?”

Obasanjo’s loyalists dump PDP for APC

Obasanjo’s loyalists dump PDP for APC

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo

Loyalists of  former  President Olusegun Obasanjo in the Peoples Democratic Party have dumped the ruling party for the All Progressives Congress.

Saturday PUNCH  learnt on Wednesday that the former President’s supporters, particularly those in the South-West, left the PDP because they felt that  they had been sidelined.

It was learnt that the former president’s loyalists  would have left the PDP early this year, but  they were prevailed upon by Obasanjo to remain in the party after the visit of the PDP National Chairman, Alhaji  Adamu Mu’azu, to him in Abeokuta on January 26, 2014.

A member of the PDP National Working Committee, who confided in one of our correspondents, said that the party was aware that the former president’s loyalists had left the party.

The national officer, who is sympathetic to the group, stated, “I am aware that their  grouse is mainly that they have been sidelined. All the points raised by Obasanjo in his letter to the former PDP chairman, Dr. Bamanga Tukur,  have not been addressed.

“We continue to behave as if we do not want the old man and his supporters in the party. Mu’azu promised to address those points when he visited Baba (Obasanjo) in January, but nothing has been done.”

Obasanjo had, in a letter to Tukur dated January 7, 2014, alleged that the PDP was negating the principles of morality, decency and discipline in its decisions, especially as they affected the South-West.

Part of the letter  read, “While I believe that a good and truly national political party must be a microcosm of the nation in its membership, made up of all sorts of characters from near-saints to near-satan. Kashamu Buruji has been so extolled in PDP in South-West geo-political zone, which I personally find unsavoury. Politics played by any national political party must have morality, decency, discipline, principles and leadership examples as cardinal practices of the party. I have attached here recent documents that clearly indicate that your extolled PDP  Leader in the South-West zone of Nigeria and an indigene of Ogun State is, to say the least, not a credit to the party as a member, let alone being a zonal leader.”

But Tukur, in his response, said that Kashamu enjoyed  the party’s support because of the role he (Kashamu) played in strengthening the PDP in the South-West. Kasamu had also described Obasanjo’s letter as a  “cocktail of lies.’’

The crisis in the South-West PDP worsened in early 2013 when Tukur dissolved the party executive in Ogun State led by Senator Dipo Odujirin, a loyalist of Obasanjo.

Tukur also removed the party’s  National Secretary, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, and the National Auditor, Chief Bode Mustapha, who are staunch supporters of the former President.

When contacted, Mustapha told Saturday PUNCHon the telephone that he and his supporters had defected to the APC.

He stated, “I cannot continue to remain in a party where injustice is the order of the day; where the leader of the party does not deem it right to address the injustice that was meted out to me; where a person, who did not contest an office, is today occupying the office.  They think it is the norm.

“It only smacks of one thing: that I am not wanted in the party;  that I am seen as somebody who has no value in the party.  Whether I have value or not, we shall see at the polls.

“I left the party on my own free will.  Baba Obasanjo  is my Baba (father). At the same time, at 64, if I don’t know where I am going, I should know where I am coming from. I should know when to appreciate that I am not wanted in an environment.

“Let neophytes continue to tell lies to Mr. President.  I wish all of them well, but if they are planning to rig, I want to tell them that they can only rig where they are popular.”

But the PDP Chairman in Ogun State, Chief Bayo Dayo, dismissed Mustapha’s threat, saying the former national chairman had no political value.

He said, “Bode Mustapha has no value. If he has any value, tell him  to go and give it to the APC. I can tell you that he cannot even win his ward.”

Dayo said despite Mustapha’s defection, members of other political parties had been joining the PDP.

According to him, the PDP cannot force anybody to remain in the party.

He declined to comment on Obasanjo’s letter. “What I can tell you  is that the PDP is one in Ogun State and Baba Obasanjo is our father.”

When contacted, a former governor of  Ekiti State, Mr. Segun Oni,  who is also a loyalist of Obasanjo, declined to comment on the issue.  He said that he would talk to the media at the appropriate time.

Oni said, “I don’t want to talk now. I will talk maybe next week. Definitely it won’t be long but I will talk.”

But a source within the APC said the opposition party was wooing Oni and a former secretary of the PDP in the South-West, Chief Ropo Adesanya.

Adesanya  confirmed  that politicians from the APC had been talking to him to join the party.

He said, “As politicians, you have to stretch out your nets to catch more people because democracy is a game of number.  I capitalised on a minor cabinet reshuffle by Otunba  Niyi Adebayo when he was the governor and some of his cabinet members were lured to the PDP.”

Efforts to get the party National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisah Metuh, to comment on the issue did not succeed as his mobile telephone indicated  that it was switched off. He did not respond to an SMS sent to him.

But Metuh’s deputy, Abduallhi Jalo, said that the letter written by Obasanjo to  Tukur was still being looked into.

He stated, “As a party we have the utmost respect for him. It is not everything that we want to discuss on the pages of newspapers. All I can tell you now is that the matter is being treated internally. It is a party affair.”

Jalo dismissed the defection of Mustapha, adding that the party could only worry if Obasanjo leaves the PDP.

The PDP deputy national publicity secretary said, “Some people just do and say things that will draw attention to themselves not that they have what it takes. If it were someone like our respected leader, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, that you say is leaving–God forbid– then you can say there is a cause for worry.”

He said that Mustapha does not have the political clout to cause problems for the PDP in the South-West.

Jalo also said that the party was still deliberating on Oyinlola’s case, adding that  the party respects  the former national secretary.

“The party has a secretary and the case of the Oyinlola is still being deliberated upon by the relevant organs of the party. The matter will be resolved sooner than later,” he stated.

Community celebrates 3-year-old girl for settling kingship tussle

Community celebrates 3-year-old girl for settling kingship tussle

Abumi

Three year old Mma Abumi  Edet is currently the toast of her community.  The people of Mbarakom community in Akampkpa Local Government Area of Cross River State believe  this “mysterious’’ child  has not only  helped  in resolving an age-long monarchical struggle in their community, but put an end to a catalogue of evils that had befallen them for over a decade.

To reward  Abumi Edet, the community has pledged  to sponsor  her  education to tertiary level as a sign of appreciation.

The new monarch of the community, Sylvester Etim Eta-Agbor, told Saturday PUNCH that  the community would forever be grateful to Mma-Abumi, adding that it would take full responsibility for her education to any level and in any institution of her choice.

The monarch explained, “In our tradition, the killing of the python, especially after crowning a new king, indicates that the true king has emerged. For some time now, living things like snail, periwinkle, which were common sights in the community had vanished because of the evil things that were going on but  after Mma Abumi resolved the traditional stool tussle in the community,  things have become normal.”

The community believes Mma-Abumi is the reincarnated queen of Mbarakom that died in 1980.

The community, according to the new monarch,  had after the demise of  its king,  Effiong Nyong, in 1997 been entangled in controversies which led to the coronation of his successor (name withheld) who was  dethroned after Mma-Abumi allegedly revealed  that he was not the right person for the throne.

On how Mma Abumi suddenlt became a star in the community, her  father,  Mr. Ekpe Edet, told our correspondent that his daughter  had on January 13, 2014 told him that the problems confronting the community were as a result of a wrong choice of monarch.

“It was difficult for me to believe her  because I ran away from that village many years ago and she didn’t even know the village,’’ he told our correspondent.

He said his daughter told him that she knew the solution to the myriad of problems that had bedevilled the community. “ I was initially confused because she had never visited the village and I had never mentioned the name of the community to her before,’’ Edet explained.

Narrating how he succumbed to his daughter’s pressure, Edet, who is a carpenter in Oban, a distant community within the same Akamkpa LGA, said he had  to break his vow  of not visiting Mbarakom after a series of instructions  from his daughter on the need to intervene in the community kingship tussle.

“She had warned that the community was having problems because of the wrong choice of monarch and ordered that a new monarch be crowned,” he said.

He  further said, “I had a vision before and after Mma-Abumi was born in 2010 to go home and make peace with my people but I ignored it. Years later I didn’t obey the instruction that came in form of a vision until she was three years old and  I became seriously tormented spiritually.

“On January 13, while our family fasting was ongoing, we were returning home from the church when my daughter suddenly insisted that we shouldn’t go back to the house but should rather proceed to Mbarakom, otherwise she would die. She immediately fell on the main road and did not allow anyone to touch her that was why we went to Mbarakom.

“To cut a long story short, after so many prayers and revelations in Mbarakom, she instructed that a royal cloth be sown for the new monarch.”

He said  that since the time  he got the true identity of his daughter, he had stopped flogging her.

“She once told me, ‘Don’t you know I’m a queen, I don’t want you to be flogging me or treating me badly,’ Before then, anytime I beat her, she would run out of the house to a lonely and quite place and  cried  and each time she cried she cried like an adult,” he said.

Her mother, Mrs. Maria Edet, said apart from having strange experiences when she was carrying the pregnancy of Mma-Abumi, the little girl had soon after she started talking as a one-year-old child, been telling her things she (the mother) could not comprehend.

“She told us that she was a great woman in Mbarakom. She also told us that her staff and the stone she usually placed her legs on to take her bath were still in her house in Mbarakom. For some time my husband and I were disobedient to her instructions but because of what started happening we were forced to take a trip to the community and all the things she mentioned were confirmed,” she said.

The community said the fact that  Mma-Abumi’s directive on the installation of a new monarch was right was confirmed by  the killing of a python that had attempted to swallow a goat by a middle-aged man, Stanley Okpu, after the new monarch was installed.

The killing of a python  whenever a new monarch is named, according to the traditional belief of the community, is an indication  that the right  monarch has been installed.

Okpu told Saturday PUNCH that he had gone to the farm with his grandson who later called his attention to the scene of a python that had just started swallowing a goat.

“I was in the farm with my grandson and while I was busy tilling the ground, he called my attention to a snake some distance away trying to swallow a goat. I immediately went to the scene with my cutlass and killed the python with four strikes at different spots,” he said.

The news filtered through to the village and with the help of other villagers the dead snake was taken to the monarch’s palace amid jubilation.

The traditional ruler of Mbarakom explained that in the community’s tradition, such killing was significant as it indicated that his coronation was genuine.

He said, “This is a sign for us to know if I am the true king because after crowning a new ruler this kind of thing must happen.”

Recounting  the activities at the community, Eta-Agbor said, “Before now the community was in total chaos and God in His own way sent this girl to come and show the people the truth. This Mma-Abumi was a queen who now reincarnated into the family of one of her grandchildren  who resides in Oban.

“When she came here with her parents, she took us to where she was buried. As of today, there is no building there because the house then was a mud-house which had collapsed. The piece of land is now full of thick grass. We are aware that she died in 1980.”

On the killing of the python, the new Mbarakom monarch explained, “In our tradition the killing of the python, especially after crowning a new king, indicates that the true king has emerged. For some time now, living things like snail, periwinkle, which were common sights in the community had vanished because of the evil things that were going on but after I was crowned things have become normal again.”

He said her mission was to cleanse the village after showing where the problems were and the way forward.

It was gathered that Mma-Abumi  had  relocated with her parents from Oban to the community and she is now schooling at St. Theresa Primary School in Mbarakom.

When Saturday PUNCH visited the community again for the second time, one of Mma-Abumi’s school teachers, Mrs. Josephine Wilfred, said people around the school do not see her as a reincarnated queen but treats her with respect.

Wilfred said, “She is a sound child and she interacts well with her teachers and colleagues. She behaves like Mma-Abumi and many people in school call her Mma.

“We don’t look at her as a child. We give her due respect as Mma but certainly not as a child. There has been nothing extraordinary about her that we have experienced other than she is an instrument of God.”

A lady, Mrs Lucia Edet, who identified herself as the niece to the dead queen, said from all indications, Mma-Abumi was most likely her reincarnated aunty.

She said, “The full name is Ntunkae Mma-Abumi and she was my mother’s immediate elder sister. She was a blind woman and she lived in the room next to mine. I left the village during the Biafra War and when I returned most of our elderly people had died and she was almost left to herself, I took her in to live with me.

“My mother died before her but when it was time for Ntunkae to depart the earth, she died  in my place  and I personally buried her in her father’s compound. When the reincarnated Mma-Abumi’s father came to tell me at first what he had been experiencing, I knew it was something serious.

“She had told her father that they were not from Oban and that she was a queen from Mbarakom. Now each time she visits the new king’s palace which is not far from my house, she (Mma-Abumi) always spends the rest of the day with me here until  both of us  call it a day. She says this was her original home.”

Vybz Kartel caught on video committing murder; video leaks online

On April 3rd Jamaican dance-hall star Vybz Kartel was sentenced to life imprisonment for killing a former associate, Clive 'Lizard' Williams. He just filed an appeal against his sentence but it's unlikely he will make any headway with that because his murder video just leaked online.

When he was arrested back in 2011, the center piece of the murder case was a video tape made at the crime scene (Vybz' own home) implicating Vybz and his co-defendants. Well, someone just leaked that video footage...and it's chilling! They chopped the guy into pieces...that's why a body has never been found. This guy is ruthless, OMG! Continue...

Man-Utd Manager David Moyes sacked after only 10 months

Who didn't see this coming? David Moyes, the man who was handpicked by former Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson to succeed him when he retired after 26 years in charge, has been sacked as the club's manager after only 10 months.

Moyes, 50, was dismissed at a meeting with executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward at the club's Carrington training ground this morning, BBC reports.

Moyes left Everton to sign a six-year deal with Manchester United in 2013 but the premiere league champions have been playing poorly since he took over as manager.

Man U player-coach Ryan Giggs is expected to take charge of the club's next game at home against Norwich this coming Saturday.

Netherlands coach Louis Van Gaal, Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp, Atletico Madrid's manager Diego Simeone and Paris St-Germain's Laurent Blanc have already been tipped as possible successors to Moyes, BBC reports.
